
The countdown is officially on! Big Brother Naija fans can finally mark their calendars as the organizers have unveiled the premiere date for the highly anticipated 2026 edition of Africa’s biggest reality TV show—and the grand prize is bigger than ever.
During a press briefing on Wednesday, the organizers confirmed that BBNaija Season 11 will premiere on Sunday, July 26, 2026, promising another season packed with drama, romance, betrayals, shocking twists, and unforgettable entertainment.
But that’s not all! This year’s winner will take home a jaw-dropping ₦160 million, making it the largest grand prize in the history of the reality show since its launch. The record-breaking reward has already sparked massive excitement online, with fans predicting that this could become the most competitive season yet.
Ahead of the new season, the organizers conducted physical auditions in Lagos, Abuja, and Enugu from May 22 to May 24, 2026. Thousands of hopeful contestants turned up for the free auditions, which were open to Nigerians aged 21 years and above with valid means of identification.
