Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has sparked widespread reactions after unveiling the teaser for his latest movie featuring his wife, Judy Austin, and his father, veteran actor Pete Edochie.
The actor shared the first glimpse of the highly anticipated project on his social media pages, simply announcing that the wait was finally over as he invited fans to anticipate the movie.
The teaser quickly generated mixed reactions online. While many movie lovers praised the collaboration and expressed excitement over seeing the father-and-son duo on screen again, others focused on Judy Austin’s appearance in the film, with some saying they were no longer interested in watching because of her involvement.
The project has also fueled speculation among fans that Yul and his father may have resolved their reported family differences following Yul’s marriage to Judy Austin.
At the height of the family controversy, Pete Edochie had revealed in an interview that he was unaware his son had married a second wife. Several members of the Edochie family were also publicly linked to the disagreement that followed Yul’s marriage announcement.
Despite the past reports, Judy Austin has continued to show respect and admiration for the veteran actor. On several occasions, she has celebrated Pete Edochie on his birthdays and achievements, describing him as a living legend and one of Africa’s greatest actors.
