Nollywood actress Bakare Zainab has remembered her late colleague, Allwell Ademola, in a touching way as she marked what would have been the actress’ 50th birthday.
To honour Allwell, Bakare took to the streets to provide food and financial assistance to people in need.
Sharing a video of the act of kindness on social media, the Yoruba actress reflected on how memories are often the most precious things left behind when someone passes away.
Bakare revealed that whenever she misses her late colleague, she sometimes goes through their old conversations and listens to her voice, describing their memories as something that continues to live on.
She wished Allwell a happy 50th birthday in heaven and prayed for the peaceful repose of her soul.
In her words:
“When someone dies, all we are left with is the memories we shared, pictures and videos.
“Eniobanke Apeke, I go back to our chats and listen to your voice again anytime I miss you. Life continues, but the memories linger.
“Happy 50th birthday in heaven, Oremí.
“May your soul continue to rest in peace. May God forgive your sins IJN.
“Rotimi Salami, you are an amazing brother; thank you for doing this for her. I pray God comforts you and yours.”
