Award-winning Nigerian singer Simi has finally revealed the name of her second child as she shared beautiful photos from his dedication ceremony.

The singer and her husband, Adekunle Gold, recently dedicated their baby boy to God in a church ceremony.

Following the dedication service, Simi took to social media on Sunday evening to share lovely moments from the private celebration held afterwards.

In the photos, the proud mother looked radiant as she celebrated her son and introduced him to the world with his full name.

Simi revealed that her son is named Adeifemi Oba Ajani Kosoko.

Sharing a heartfelt prayer for her baby boy, the singer committed him into God’s hands and prayed for good health, peace, joy and a long life.

She wrote:

“Adeifemi Oba Ajani Kosoko. Omo Simisola, Oni Adekunle, Aburo Adejare. Jesus baby, Kaabo.”

She continued by dedicating him to God and asking for divine protection over his life.

“We dedicate you in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. You abide in the shelter of the Most High and dwell in the shadow of the Almighty.”

Simi also described her son affectionately as her “Fresh Prince,” “lil champ” and “lil pop,” while expressing how much she loves him.

Simi and Adekunle Gold welcome second child

Simi and Adekunle Gold welcomed their second child earlier this year.

The singer announced the arrival of her baby in March while sharing beautiful maternity photos with her husband. She expressed gratitude to God and revealed that she was now a mother of two.

Adekunle Gold later clarified during an interview with Great Day Houston that contrary to rumours circulating online, they did not welcome twins.

The singer confirmed that he and Simi welcomed a baby boy.

The couple, who have been married for seven years, have continued to give fans glimpses into their family life while keeping some aspects of their children’s lives private.
