Afrobeats superstar Davido has been left overjoyed after his uncle, Ademola Adeleke, secured re-election as the Governor of Osun State.
The singer had closely followed the governorship election and was visibly emotional as the results confirmed Adeleke’s victory.
In a video shared online, Davido could be seen watching the announcement before suddenly going down on his knees and falling to the ground in celebration.
The singer, who has openly supported his uncle throughout the election period, appeared overwhelmed with happiness as the result became clear.
Sharing the emotional moment with his followers, Davido simply wrote:
“We did it, uncle!!”
The victory marks another major political milestone for Adeleke, while for Davido, it was clearly a deeply personal moment as he celebrated the success of a close family member.
