“What we once prayed for is now our reality” – Lateef Adedimeji celebrates triplets after thanksgiving

Nollywood actor Lateef Adedimeji has shared an emotional message after celebrating the thanksgiving of his triplets with his wife, Bimpe Adedimeji.

The couple recently hosted a special thanksgiving celebration for their three sons, Rahman, Raheem and Rakeeb, with several celebrities, friends and family members turning up to share in their joy.

The celebration brought together a host of Nollywood stars and notable personalities, including Iyabo Ojo, Mercy Aigbe, Fausat Balogun, Jide Kosoko, Ronke Oshodi, Waje, Stan Nze and his wife Blessing Obasi, Odunlade Adekola, Eniola Ajao, Kiekie, Enioluwa, Bukky Wright and many others.

Lateef describes celebration as a testimony

Reflecting on the memorable occasion, Lateef said his heart and that of his wife remain full as they look back at the celebration.

The actor explained that the event meant much more to them than simply throwing a party. For the couple, it represented the fulfilment of prayers, faith and years of waiting.

He wrote:

“From Waiting to Wonder… and what a beautiful wonder it was.”

Lateef said what started with prayers, faith and emotional moments of expectation eventually became a celebration filled with love, laughter and thanksgiving.

He expressed gratitude to everyone who attended, prayed for the family, gave gifts or contributed in any way to making the celebration special.

The actor also appreciated their event planner, coordinator, vendors and colleagues who worked behind the scenes to make the occasion successful.

“This wasn’t just a party”

According to Lateef, seeing loved ones gather to celebrate his sons reminded him of God’s faithfulness.

He described the occasion as a testimony and a celebration of the couple’s journey from waiting and praying to finally experiencing what they had hoped for.

“This wasn’t just a party. It was a testimony. A celebration of God’s goodness. A reminder that what we once prayed for is now our reality.”

Lateef and Bimpe expressed appreciation to everyone who helped make the thanksgiving celebration for their boys a memorable one, saying they would cherish the special day for years to come.
