Former Big Brother Naija housemate Chizzy Francis has advised Bella Okagbue to let go of the alleged ₦11 million debt reportedly owed to her by her former partner, Sheggz.

The advice comes amid the highly publicised fallout between the former BBNaija couple, whose relationship recently came to an end.

Chizzy urges Bella to prioritise peace

Chizzy encouraged Bella to move on from the financial dispute, arguing that continuing to pursue the alleged debt could keep her emotionally connected to a relationship that has already ended.

In a message directed at Bella, he wrote:

“Bella, please let that money go and move on. ❤️ Sometimes in a relationship, one person has to lose something for both people to gain peace.”

He advised her to accept the loss if necessary, learn from the experience and focus on protecting her peace.

‘Not every money lost is worth the peace you lose’

According to Chizzy, pursuing money after a relationship has ended may come at an emotional cost.

He added:

“If Shegz is owing you and the relationship is already over, don’t let the debt become the reason you remain emotionally stuck.”

He urged Bella to move forward rather than allow the alleged debt to keep her tied to the controversy surrounding her former relationship.

Chizzy concluded by stressing that financial losses are sometimes better accepted when the alternative is prolonged emotional stress.

“Not every money lost is worth the peace you lose chasing it.”

The advice comes as the alleged ₦11 million debt remains one of the issues fueling the ongoing public conversation surrounding Bella and Sheggz’s breakup.
