SHOCKING TWIST! Viral ‘Bandits’ Caught Flaunting AK-47s in Military Uniforms Finally Busted by Police — What Investigators Found on Their Phones Will Leave You Speechless!

A dramatic twist has emerged in the case of the viral video that sent shockwaves across social media after several men were seen dressed in military camouflage, carrying AK-47 rifles, and communicating with walkie-talkies like a heavily armed gang.

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has confirmed the arrest of the suspects featured in the disturbing footage, bringing relief to many Nigerians who feared the video was evidence of a growing security threat.

Speaking during a press briefing in Abuja, FCT Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Muhammed Sanusi, revealed that authorities immediately launched a full-scale investigation after the clip began circulating online and causing widespread panic.

According to the police chief, a detailed digital forensic examination was carried out to trace the origin of the video and identify everyone connected to it. Acting on intelligence gathered from the investigation, police operatives carried out a coordinated operation in Runji Village, Zuba, where three suspects were successfully tracked down and arrested.

The suspects were identified as Umar Babangida, Adamu Yeti, and Yahaya Idris, all said to be residents of Rijana in Kaduna State.

Investigators disclosed that the men had allegedly gained access to AK-47 rifles through a gang leader known simply as “Esco,” who remains on the run and is currently being hunted by security operatives.

The case took an even more shocking turn when police reportedly recovered additional videos and photographs from the suspects’ mobile phones. The materials allegedly showed them repeatedly posing in military uniforms while displaying assault rifles and using communication gadgets similar to those employed by security personnel.

Items recovered during the operation included an AK-47 rifle loaded with 30 rounds of live ammunition, eight mobile phones, two jackknives, power banks, and several other incriminating digital materials.

Authorities say investigations are still ongoing as efforts intensify to apprehend the fleeing gang leader and uncover the full extent of the group’s activities.

The arrest has sparked widespread reactions online, with many Nigerians praising the swift response of the police while calling for tougher action against individuals who use weapons and military attire to intimidate the public and spread fear.
