” Kaduna Kidnap Drama Takes Shocking Twist! Police Nab Alleged Bandits’ Informants, Rescue Victims After 40 Days in Captivity”

The fight against kidnapping in Kaduna State has taken a dramatic turn as security operatives busted a suspected network of informants allegedly working hand-in-hand with notorious kidnappers.

In a major breakthrough, the Kaduna State Police Command announced the arrest of five suspects believed to have been supplying sensitive information and logistical support to kidnapping gangs terrorizing communities across the state.

The operation, which has sparked reactions among residents, also led to the rescue of three kidnapped victims who had reportedly endured more than 40 harrowing days in captivity.

According to police authorities, the successful mission was carried out by a joint security team from Fushin Kada in collaboration with the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in Hunkuyi. Acting on credible intelligence, security personnel launched a strategic surveillance operation that eventually traced the criminals to their hideout.

Sources revealed that the suspected bandits fled for their lives upon noticing the approach of security operatives, abandoning their captives in a desperate bid to escape arrest.

The rescued victims were identified as Ekechikwu Omale, Ummi Salisu from Kudan Local Government Area of Kaduna State, and Pastor Daniel Tanko Bawa from Tufa Village in neighbouring Niger State.

After their rescue, the victims were immediately taken for medical evaluation and treatment before being reunited with their relieved families.

Police investigations suggest that the arrested suspects played key roles in aiding the kidnappers by allegedly providing information about potential targets and assisting with logistics.

Commending the operation, Kaduna State Commissioner of Police, Rabiu Muhammad, praised the professionalism and teamwork displayed by the security agencies involved. He reiterated the command’s determination to crush kidnapping syndicates and other violent criminal groups operating within the state.

The police chief also appealed to residents to continue sharing useful information with security agencies, stressing that public cooperation remains one of the strongest weapons in the fight against insecurity.

The latest arrests have once again exposed the hidden network of informants believed to be helping criminal gangs carry out abductions, raising fresh concerns about how deeply such syndicates may be embedded within local communities.
