” Church Service Turns Bloody! Machete-Wielding Biker Sparks Chaos as Police Stop Furious Mob from Taking Revenge”

A peaceful Sunday worship in Bauchi State suddenly turned into a scene of panic and bloodshed after a motorcycle rider allegedly attacked church members with a machete, leaving three worshippers injured before an angry mob descended on him.

The shocking incident happened at a Catholic Church in Jigawa Village Mine, Bogoro Local Government Area, where worshippers had gathered for their regular service.

According to reports, the suspect, identified as 30-year-old Ibrahim Mohammed from Kangere village in Bauchi Local Government Area, was riding through the area when he attempted to force his way past the church despite the ongoing service.

Church officials on duty reportedly stopped him and asked him to wait, but what started as a simple disagreement quickly spiraled out of control.

Witnesses said the motorcyclist allegedly pulled out a machete during the heated confrontation and attacked three worshippers. The victims, identified as Shalom Simon, 27, Tsamani Iliya, 35, and Ibrahim Emmanuel, 29, suffered various injuries in the brutal assault.

The violent attack triggered outrage among residents, who immediately chased and overpowered the suspect. He reportedly sustained injuries as the furious crowd attempted to take the law into their own hands.

Police officers swiftly responded to the distress call, rescued the suspect from the mob, and restored calm to the community before the situation escalated further.

The injured worshippers were rushed to the State Specialist Hospital in Bogoro, where they are currently receiving medical treatment.

Authorities have assured residents that security has been reinforced in the area to prevent any retaliatory violence, while investigations into the disturbing incident are ongoing.
