“Take it easy on women” – Nkechi Blessing warns trolls who shame women for being unmarried, childless

Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has sent a strong message to social media trolls who constantly mock women for being unmarried or without children.

The actress, in a post shared on her social media page, urged people to be more considerate because they may have no idea what another person is privately going through.

Nkechi also warned women seeking marriage, children, or other blessings to be careful of fake prophecies and people who claim to have answers to their struggles.

She encouraged women to keep seeking God while cautioning internet trolls against making insensitive comments about their age, marital status or motherhood.

In her words:

“In everything you do in this life, and as a woman seeking the face of God for anything, be it a child, husband, or anything at all, please and please beware of fake prophecy.

“And to you godforsaken demons called online trolls, take it easy on always reminding a woman she’s getting old and unmarried, childless, etc. You never know the battles they fight behind the scenes. May God grant us long life.”

Nkechi’s latest message comes amid her history of responding to online critics who frequently comment on her personal life and relationship status.

The actress has previously maintained that she would rather remain single than settle for a relationship that makes her unhappy, while also urging people to stop judging others based on their marital status.

Her latest post has further sparked conversations about the pressure women face on social media over marriage, childbirth and age.
