Businessman Olakunle Churchill has praised his ex-wife, Tonto Dikeh, as their son, King Andre, continues his summer holiday with his family.
Churchill shared photos and videos from the boy’s holiday, including a sweet moment where he linked up with his grandmother in Paris.
Churchill praises Tonto Dikeh
According to Churchill, his mother was impressed by their son’s calmness, confidence and attitude when they met.
He described the bond between his mother and son as beautiful, saying the moments shared with family are priceless.
Praising Tonto for the way she has raised their son, Churchill wrote:
“Grandma was so impressed by his calmness, confidence and beautiful attitude; it was beautiful to see that special bond between grandson and grandmother.”
He also hailed his former wife, telling her:
“No worries @tontolet you finish work.”
Tonto and Churchill’s relationship
Churchill and Tonto Dikeh have had a complicated history since their marriage ended, with the former couple previously engaging in a series of public disputes.
However, their relationship appears to have taken a different turn in recent months.
In January, Tonto revealed that she had extended an olive branch to Churchill after years of public disagreements, describing their past as a period filled with wounds, broken communication, bitterness and pain.
Churchill welcomed the development, expressing gratitude to Tonto and praising her for being a good mother to their son.
The former couple also came together in February to celebrate King Andre’s 10th birthday, surrounded by family, friends and several celebrities.
Tonto and Churchill got married in 2015 before their marriage ended about two years later. Despite their past disagreements, their recent interactions have shown a more cordial relationship centred around their son.
